I (sort of) Owe you guys an explination.

I'm not going to go into too many details, but I've been sick. I have a few heart conditions and I overexerted myself and it lead to some issues. I'm on orders to rest and relax for the next few days and have to be watched.
So, I'm not sure what to do about modeling, aside from stopping it. It can be sometimes stressful, and I really need to not be stressing.

One thing I'd like to say- I absolutely love the small, family feel of the modeling community- but news about my health is mine and mine alone to tell people. So far, I've had two separate occasions where someone has told a competition host I was ill.
I appreciate them giving the host a head's up- but at the same time, the only reason I state I have health issues is so I can explain why I pop out of the community for time to time. It is not idle gossip that needs to be spread around.

I know it's the internet, and on the internet once you put something out there people are free to do whatever they want with it, but at the same time people should mind their own bee's wax. ^_~

Tumblr!

I've made a tumblr, mainly so that I can post random screenshots of my Sims. I have a ton of Cammie I've just been dying to show off but really have no place to do so.

In other news, Art of Editing Assignment two is CLOSED and judging is in progress. Currently waiting on Ash's scores- so if you're reading this, GET ON THAT, MISSY.

Hahah, but Assignment three should be up soon. I'm super pleased with how everyone has been doing so far! It makes me happy to know that we're helping the next generation of editors.
It's so exciting!

SNTM And Synthesis Hiring

I joined Sensation's Next Top Model Cycle 3 and turned in Assignment One today. I'm actually really proud of it- though there are a LOT of flaws that I can see, Cammie looks absolutely gorgeous.
I've made a page for SNTM like I have for Beech, which can be found in the top bar.

I'm going to repost the entry here though, just because I love it so much!

I sort of want to make a page for Cammie. I take a lot of random pictures of her- I just love my little dork so much!

Pretty soon I'll be opening a thread on the officials where I help/edit pictures that users submit. It's just something to do in my free time, for practice.

Oh! A bit of important news: Synthesis is hiring an ad creator. We have applications open on the website, which you can find here.
We are looking for someone experienced and professional, who can handle a heavy workload. I know Ad Creator doesn't seem like the most glamorous position- most people would rather be a Fashion and Beauty Consultant or a Writer, but Ad Creators are a very valuable part of the Synthesis team.

The Scoop!

I was just recently informed that I have apparently been spotlighted in the Unbound Scoop. The Scoop is the Newspaper over at the Sims 3 Unbound- it's sort of like a small magazine: pictures, interviews and whatnot.

Issue Three has just come out, and I was mentioned on page 17.

I'm not sure if this is members only or not. If it is, I highly recommend you join. It only takes a few minutes and it's definitely worth it. While I am a huge advocate of reviving the officials, it really is true that the modeling community there is kind of dead. On Unbound, the modeling community is absolutely thriving. So if that's your thing (and even if it isn't) then give it a peek!
It's definitely worth the look, I promise.

Speaking of modeling, I need to get back to those particular obligations!

Can You WooHoo With Them?

One of my guilty pleasures is reading the comments on the My Sims 3 Blog. I know a lot of times they can be full of trolls and nastiness, but sometimes they can be super funny.

Like, for example, the comments on this post.

 First, I just want to say that this is an awesome cc set that I am definitely adding in my game. Those cupcakes look amazing (amazingly delicious). The creator did a really good job!

Then, as I was reading the comments, I saw this:

I LOL'd so hard. I think someone has been watching American Pie far too many times..but still super incredibly funny.

EA = Electronic Annoyances, otherwise titled: My Adventure in Glitch-Land

I love my Sims Game, I REALLY do. Despite having a ton of mods and cc (over one thousand files total between 800 Package files and at least 1000 Sims3Packs), my game has never run incredibly slowly, lagged, or glitched up on me.

Until today.

A new feature I've added. Links! Places on the interwebz to find me. I'm probably forgetting someplace..but for now I think I've managed to get them all down.

Debating whether or not to add Unbound. I'm really only over there to turn in competition entires. I'm trying to stick exclusively to the officials.

New Page - Beech Modeling

For the curious sort of who like to look at modeling pictures, I've made a page to archive my entries in Beech Modeling Cycle 2, Lingerie Edition.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween season! I'm sad that it's over, but excited to be gearing up for Autumn and Winter- the most wonderful time of year, in this Bat's opinion!
